Gaited mare. She is 13 years old. Stands right about 15 hands. She’s been extensively trail ridden, been in parades, has done fun shows, etc. Shes good minded and easy to handle and would absolutely be suitable for an intermediate rider, or a beginner under supervision. She stands tied, is easy to catch, leads, loads, stands for a bath, is good for the farrier, etc. Honestly I don’t have a bad thing to say about her at all, besides she’s mildly buddy sour occasionally if not rideen frequently. She’s not crazy or dangerous about it, but she will pace around and toss her head some for a few minutes. She works through it quickly and does not buck or bolt.
Biggest con is she does have mild heaves and will sometimes have labored breathing if she’s on round bales and it’s hot and humid outside. On pasture, you may never ever even notice it. I give her generic Zyrtec every day and she does fine on primarily round bales here with limited pasture. She has a current Coggins, I vaccinated her in late March, and she’s UTD on worming.
Open to trades on non-gaited weanling to 2 year olds, and will take serious offers on her to a good home.
