Essential Job Functions:

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, approprie safety gloves, and sebelts while opering forklifts).
• Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corpore, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).  
• Report problems with the FSMS to responsible managerial employees to initie corrective actions.
• Ability to perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers.
• Able to troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumic).
• Able to perform maintenance on all production supporting equipment (i.e. glycol system, RO system, Compressed Air system, lubricion systems, chemical distribution systems).
• Use innovive thinking when troubleshooting equipment in order to minimize production downtime, assure food safety, product quality and personnel safety.
• Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on all assigned work orders to include recording all utilized part numbers for inventory purposes.
• Communice effectively and completely all relevant maintenance and production reled informion from shift to relieving shift.
• Assist in training other maintenance personnel.
• Communice with production during periods of downtime.
• Work collaborively with all adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of GMPs.
• Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
• Must be able to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
• Work without supervision.
• Good decision making/problem solving skills.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift certificion.

Educion and Experience:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evening, and overnight may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed. 
• Work Environment: Opering in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts.  Noise levels require hearing protection and temperures can get very hot and/or relively cold). The environment is structured and supervised.  

Travel Requirements:

• May be minimal travel required as needed for training.

Physical Requirements:

• Visual/Sensory: This position requires tention to detail, requiring tention with one or two senses a time.
• Coordinion and Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordinion and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment.  
• Mental Stress: There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands.
