Here you go folks!!! Finally decided to part with "BERTHA", my beloved bass rig for stage.
BERTHA is made up of...
a SUNN CONCERT LEAD 400W (that's right, 400 WATTS) amp used as the head for the Peavey 2-15 Bass cabinet. The amp is still strong and working after all these years. Head has an after-market plug-in (see pic), otherwise completely original.
and a PEAVEY 2-15 cabinet has one "side" foot that has worn (because I always laid her on her side on stage) that needs to be replaced (or could be ignored) and a small tear in the screen at the top which has been there for over 40 years. See pics for details.
I realize that BERTHA is Pricey, but SUNN equipment (before Fender bought them) is a coveted piece of equipment and you can't beat PEAVEY... RUGGED and STRONG.
I checked eBay and there are several others $650 OBO without the speaker cabinet!
So...Bring your bass and test her out.
NOTE: I don't have to sell her, but my gig days (especially outdoor shows) are pretty much over and I have another (smaller) bass amp, so I thought I'd pass her along to an upcoming bass player that wants "some muscle".
